I went out and took a bunch yesterday. I took some more today, but sadly, they are all blurred--I think I inadvertantly changed a setting on the camera. In the meantime, here's the ones from yesterday (under the cut for the bandwidth-impaired).

Scary, scary deck. The covering boards were so rotted they could be lifted up
by hand.

Of course, it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good, as Nermal would say.

This is the "better" part of the deck. Charcoal is braver than I!

mountain, as you can see, it's hilly indeed!

For some reason, my system refuses to load the images, neither here nor separately. My activity window says "cannot find server." I'm suspecting my accursed DNS acting up again, though it usually only does so with SBO and not ZolaWeb...

i absolutely adore the land you have your new home on and the surroundings in general! the deck does look scary, but that sorta thing is a lot easier to change than the local topography or flora! ;)
