100 Posts in 100 Days: Day 13

It's really cold today! The temperature hasn't gotten above 20 all day, and it's windy. We had a chilly, rainy day yesterday, and then all of a sudden the wind picked up, the temperatures plummeted, and heavy rain turned to snow.  Inch an hour stuff. At first it was really wet and sticking to everything, which caused the power to flicker several times, but as the temperature dropped further, the snowflakes got tiny and the power has been fine ever since.

We haven't had much snow today at all, just a few flurries. The real problem is the wind is blowing everything around.

Strangely, by Monday/Tuesday, we will be back to the 50's. While I can remember some mild winters, I don't ever remember a winter that had springlike temperatures with only very brief visits below freezing.

I have a lot of work to do, I am just plugging away. Hopefully I will get caught up enough to do something interesting so I can blog about it, but as long as I have this much of a pile on my desk, it's pretty much work, work work.
