2008 in review

First, I must say that I am very glad to see the end of this year.

It isn't that anything particularly awful happened, overall it's been pretty calm.

But there are times when the universe seems to flow with you, and you are able to make plans and carry them out and things run smoothly, and then there are times when the current flows against you, and it seems like you're paddling upstream the whole time.

2008 has been like that, and I'm glad to see it gone.
