Scream Awards: Day 13
Oct. 19th, 2011 10:34 amBen had the TV on last night and we were watching the Scream awards.
It was really long, ran quite late and I didn't watch the whole thing, but I did stay long enough to see the Comic-Con Icon Award. It was given to June Foray, and much to my delight, she attended in person to accept it.
While you may not recognize the name, I guarantee you'll recognize some of these voices:
Rocket J. Squirrel, Natasha Fatale and Nell Fenwick, Cindy Lou Who, the Chatty Cathy doll and her evil twin Talky Tina, Witch Hazel, Tweety's Granny) and Jokey Smurf, just to name a few.

She's 94 years old, and she really looked great, a little frail of course, but she had a couple of very solicitous gentlemen attending her, and she did the Natasha voice to accept the award. She sounds great!.
It's really nice to know she's still active!
