Who will get the cervical cancer vaccine?
The arguments against it are, in my opinion, asinine. Can these parents who are so fucking concerned about keeping their daughter "pure" guarantee that she will never be raped? That even if she remains a virgin until she is married and stays faithful, that her husband has never had the virus? That said husband is 100% faithful and never gets exposed to the virus? Puh-LEASE.
This is a *good* thing that will drastically reduce cases of cancer for the price of a damn vaccination given to a pre-teen girl. What the FUCK is wrong with people? If you are so worried about your daughter thinking it will give her a license to have promiscuous sex, then don't tell her what the shot is for. I mean, you probably already lie to her all the time in the name of your beliefs, what's one more?
