Day 1

We got to the con in plenty of time (so we THOUGHT), but as it turned out, it took FOUR HOURS to get through the dratted registration line!

This meant, sadly, that we missed Steve Blum's first appearance. However, now that we have our badges and all that fun stuff, there will be no problem getting in, we know how to get there, we know where to park, and we know what time his appearance is and where.

So we anticipate no further problems :)

One thing I did get to do today was to get Fred Gallagher's autograph. :)

If you don't recognize the name, you might better know him as "Piro", he's the dude who does the Megatokyo. I got the three books, it's a great strip, and I got the magic coff33 +1 mug :D

I also got a couple Big O Cels, but you'll have to wait for those to be scanned. I think I've already spent enough money and there's still two days left!

aww poor Zola I am sure that Blum is disappointed not meeting his #1 fan. Hope you have a great time at Anime Central.-Dark-O

You'll be able to catch Blum again. Usually the actors hang out with the crowd and be obnoxious - hell, I had Chris Patton stripping right next to me in the cafe line at AFO4. ^_^

The dealer's room is ALWAYS addictive - I could waste a whole year's pay there easily.
